Caplugs PO Series Push-On, Straight-Thread Caps are designed to protect straight threads with or without O-rings, yet versatile to be used on a variety of threaded or non-threaded fittings. These caps may look simple, as they have a common shape, but there are different features at work within the construction of the cap. Within the center of the flanged top is a recessed gate, which allows for a small but important gap between the top of the cap and wherever the metric fitting is to be stored, creating a tight seal. The PO Series of Push-On, Straight-Thread Caps fit a variety of common metric thread sizes. This particular cap is made to cap a thread size of 7/8". It has the following dimensions: Cap ID 0.864" x 0.66" Length x 1.12" Width. The low-density polyethylene that these caps are made from are not only durable to resist most chemicals, they also have a wide service temperature range.
